SANSAD BHARAT DARSHAN
Travel and tourism is an integral part of learning. The right kind of exposure, understanding education standards and curriculum being followed elsewhere, etc. become a source of inspiration and learning for most of the students.
In order to ensure that meritorious students hailing from Himachal Pradesh get the required exposure and learning experience, ‘Sansad Bharat Darshan’ was started.
80 meritorious students from class 10th & 12th were taken to metro cities. They went to places such as ISRO, NDA, Western Naval Command. A session with Chetan Bhagat, Sunil Shetty, Mohammad Azharuddin, ensured that holistic exposure & learning is provided to them.
The overarching objective of the campaign was to ensure that the meritorious students hailing from economically backward families get adequate opportunities and platform to witness & experience various academic, research and corporate centres and expose them to the new knowledge base.
In an interesting turn of events, select students will soon travel to Canada & Australia as a part of an exchange programme.
This will not only provide a learning experience but also provide them access to different cultures, work ethics, skill sets to prepare them for a better tomorrow.
